World Environment Day 2025
As part of the lead-up to World Environment Day 2025, we proudly participated in the planning and execution of a county-wide clean-up and awareness campaign in collaboration with Government of Makueni County and Kenya Red Cross, Makueni County Chapter.
This initiative focused on promoting sustainable waste management practices within local communities, with special emphasis on Ending Plastic Pollution - the theme of this year’s World Environment Day. The initiative sought to;
- Raise awareness on the harmful impacts of plastic pollution on ecosystems
- Encourage waste segregation at source and responsible bin usage
- Engage community members in practical clean-up efforts
- Support Makueni County’s broader environmental sustainability goals
