Emmerculate brings deep expertise in environmental risk management, social inclusion, and sustainable development to Angaza Mazingira. With years of experience working on infrastructure, agriculture, and renewable energy projects, she ensures that our initiatives meet rigorous safeguards standards – from the World Bank’s Environmental & Social Standards to IFC Performance Standards and national/county frameworks.
Her core work includes preparing and implementing Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs), Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs), Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs), and stakeholder engagement strategies. She is particularly passionate about designing projects that advance climate resilience, promote gender equality, and enable meaningful community participation.
Emmerculate also leads efforts to integrate climate-smart solutions and global sustainability reporting frameworks – such as IFRS, SASB, GRI, CDP, and the UN Global Compact – into development programs, helping Angaza Mazingira align regulatory compliance with long-term sustainability goals.
Recognized for her ability to translate policy into practice, Emmerculate champions responsible development that balances economic growth with environmental protection and social equity – all in service of building stronger, more resilient communities.

He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Integrated Watershed Management. Joshua is deeply passionate about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a particular commitment to Goal 13 on climate action.
Coming from an arid and semi-arid region that is highly affected by climate shocks such as droughts and flash floods, Joshua is driven to support communities in understanding climate risks and building resilience. In addition, he has a strong interest in applying Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to promote data-driven decision-making in climate change planning and interventions.
